About Saturn
Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system, Jupiter is the largest planet. And it is the six planet from the sun. Saturn is famous for its rings.They were first seen in by Galileo in the year 1610 and were identified as rings by Christiaan Huygens in 1655. "The rings contain more than 100,000 individual ringlet".

The visible rings of saturn stretch out to a distance of 136,200 km or 84,650 mi from Saturn's center.The rings of saturn are thought to contain rocks, frozen gases, and water ice. One of the rings is dense enough to block sunlight. The apparent separation between the two most visible rings is called Cassini's division,being named after its discoverer, the French astronomer Giovanni Cassini. It has five faint rings.
